The department congratulates instructor Sandy McWhorter on the publication of her poetry chapbook titled The Sci-Fi Dreams of a Little Girl. According to the description on Amazon's website, "In this chapbook from Bloodstone Preses, poet Sandy Wickersham-McWhorter uses her love of science-fiction to explore her experiences and reflect on the 1950s American family." The book was released earlier this month.
