Before moving to Nebraska, she earned a Masters Degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from the University College Cork in Ireland and has been working for several years as a translator and freelance writer. Cardona works as writer, editor, and translator and marketing specialist for the Missionary Society of St. Columban in Omaha, NE (https://columban.org/). According to Cardona, “the Society in the US works with immigrant communities in El Paso, California, Washington, DC and Nebraska to learn their rights, provide them support, and pass legislation that protects them. They also run campaigns and provide resources on how to care for creation and fight injustice.”
Cardona tells us: “I'm currently working as a magazine editor in Omaha, NE as well as working various freelance content writing positions including travel writing, Resume and Cover Letter writing, and business copywriting. This is my fifth publication with Z Publishing and I was also published in the University College Cork literary journal The Quarryman @Quarryman_UCC last year.”
